Acer, one of the popular manufacturers of laptops and PCs, has announced the launch of Acer Liquid Metal, the latest generation Android 3G smartphone, in India.
Acer Liquid Metal makes use of Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform and this is further strengthened by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Core processor, thus allowing the user to enjoy uninterrupted web navigation at a very high speed.
This smartphone features a curved 3.6 inch display with a TFT capacitive touch screen, a five megapixel camera with auto focus, pinch to zoom feature, smile detection, geo-tagging, image stabilization and also offers 720p HD video recording. Other features of the phone include 256MB internal memory with microSD support, FM radio (Stereo), Wi-Fi, USB connectivity and HSPDA 14.4Mbps/HSUPA/GSM Support. It also has a 1500mAh battery.
